Most of the large shopping destinations around here have ponds to help handle the runoff when it rains … some are nicely landscaped and one in particular always seems to have geese and ducks enjoying it.   Over the last several months, I’ve told myself I should bring my camera and take advantage of this opportunity.  Today I did just that.    There’s actually two small ponds with a walkway between them.  The ducks were a bit shy and would attempt to hide near the foliage along the pond edges … the geese on the other hand, squawked occasionally but didn’t seem to care about my intrusion.   I’d turned away from the larger pond where most of the geese were to watch a pair of ducks in the smaller pond when I heard splashing and turned to see these little guys enjoying a bath.   They stole the show.
