This morning’s annular eclipse …

I managed to get out there in time to see the eclipse this morning … just barely got there.  I discovered I didn’t have my tripod with me and before I beat myself up too much about that, I realized I didn’t have time to bother with it anyway … I had cut it that close!

The very last few minutes of the eclipse were visible from my location and fortunately the clouds had left me a nice gap at the horizon to see it.  I’ll count that as the first blessing of the day.

This photo is later in the sequence.  I was intentionally underexposed to capture as much detail of the eclipse as I could.
