A crisscrossed sky …

My schedule for the day changed and I was able to get away from work about half an hour before sunset.  The sky overhead and to the east was scattered with thin pink clouds that looked like they’d been painted across the sky with a huge paint brush.  Toward the west were more of those swept sort of clouds and bright contrails crisscrossing the sky.
