Flowing water …

I have been taking quite a few photographs the last couple of days … barely having any time to look at them.  The photos I’m selecting for the blog are outside the main theme of the about 99% of the photos.  This is partly due to having a hard time selecting which of the others to use.  I suspect that before the week is out, that may change, but then I might just keep seeing other things that I feel moved to photograph.  Today I was in a museum and at the end of the exhibits … or perhaps the room that held the final exhibit there was a “coin fountain” where patrons were apparently encouraged to make donations.  It wasn’t really a fountain at all; it was more like a flume that the water ran down and then poured into the basin where the coins were tossed.   There was a light fixture at the bottom of the basin aimed up at the point where the flow of water down the flume met the water already in the basin.   Needless to say, it caught my eye.
