A rising star …

It was cloudy here last evening, so there were no falling stars (meteors) to be seen … but maybe there were a few rising stars.   It isn’t too hard to find live music in Nashville … and there’s more than enough talent to fill the slots available.   After listening to several other singers and bands … an hour here and hour there along Broadway … we stepped into Honky Tonk Central.   The young lady on the fiddle was good and I thought quite brave to take on Devil Went Down to Georgia … if you’ve seen and heard Charlie Daniels do that one, you understand my thoughts on it.   Then this little 10-year-old girl comes up on stage to sing Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away with the band.  She did a good job of it.  Then she belted out Adele’s Rolling in the Deep … she was amazing.  Anyway, I thought I’d share a quick snapshot I got of her.
