Melting snow …

It warmed up today and made the slushy snow that blanketed everything outside even more slushy.   I took a short break at lunch time and cleared as much of the heavy densely packed snow off the top of my vehicle and uncovered the branch tips of my mountain laurel, wax myrtle and spiraea so that they could spring back up before they broke or were permanently damaged.  Then I got my camera and took a quick walk around the house.  Today’s picture is of an old porch swing in the back yard.
