The silent noise maker …

Today was one of those days when nothing is able to hold my focus very long.  Lots on my mind and lots to get done and photography was not very high on the list.   I had glanced around the room when I first got home and my eyes landed on the metronome I’ve had since I was a pre-teen taking piano lessons.  I thought for a few moments about different ways I might photograph it, but was soon distracted by other thoughts.  When I realized that it was getting late, I looked back at the metronome and knew I should save that for another day.  Sitting next to the metronome was a small hammered brass bell.
