Throwback Thursday …

Actually, I have been working on archiving older photos and cleaning up my hard drive.   I like to think that I have been learning and improving my abilities as a photographer.  Today’s photo is from 2 years and 2 days ago.   I had been “playing” with my first DSLR for almost 4 months and felt like I had a clue about the settings on the camera.  Fortunately, I would remember to make adjustments for a particularly difficult situation … such as using a higher ISO setting in some lower light situations.  My problem was, all too often, forgetting to decrease it when I no longer needed it at the higher setting.   This photo from sunset and unfortunately, the ISO setting here is what I’d used all day … the whole beautiful, bright, sunny, need I say well-lit day.   I still love this photo though.
