Ouch …

I’ve been unable to move much the past few days.  I foolishly moved something heavy by myself instead of seeking help and my back has been letting me know just how foolish that was.  So instead of going out and enjoying the beautiful weather this afternoon, I spend most of the afternoon alternating an ice pack and a heating pad.

A couple of days ago, I posted a photo of a couple of antique farm implements and a dear friend commented that he thought it would be an interesting photo to experiment with in B&W.  I shared my original image file with him and he provided a few variations in both color and B&W.   It really got me thinking about using adjustment layers to selectively age areas of the photograph.   Today’s photo is one from back in March.  I’ve posted a new variation on post processing and my original version.  I didn’t quite get to what I was thinking of when discussing his different perspectives, but the pain meds make it a little hard to maintain focus on anything for long.   I’ll have to revisit this idea once the pain has gone away.
