It was a bit after 1 pm when I left Canaan Valley and headed toward Seneca Rocks.  I stopped first at the Front Porch Restaurant and had a late lunch where I had a view of the rocks.  Other diners would point and mention seeing climbers; apparently their vision is much better than mine.  After I’d eaten, I headed over to the Discovery Center and parked in the lower lot and walked around a bit to get a better view.  Only a few trees were starting to show their autumn colors here.
