Autumn around the lake …

On my drive to the gardens, I kept thinking that I’d taken quite a few photographs of the lake on my previous visit and that perhaps, I’d not do so this time.  A clear, pale blue sky convinced me the reflections wouldn’t be as striking … and similar other thoughts had me convinced I would avoid the lake altogether.  But all that changed by the time I’d arrived and walked through the rose garden.  I images I will likely share over the next few days will show some of the same views of the lake, but are quite different.   I’m hoping you’ll enjoy them.

First is a view of the tree house from across the lake.  The rose garden was right behind me for this shot.
