A bought a couple of “drift” roses several weeks ago. They seem to like the location I put them in … lots of morning sun, but a bit of shade in the heat of the day … are have started to show off with their 2 1/2″ blossoms. A week or so ago, little critters had been nibbling on the leaves and buds, but the eco-friendly soap type spray I used, seems to have chased them off for now.
I took this photo after I’d finished mowing the yard this evening after work. It was shot using only natural light, so the camera was on a tripod and the exposure was for 13 seconds.
