So I started this challenge for myself on 17 October and today is 17 November … so I’ve completed a month and 1 day once I finish this post 😉

I must admit that it is a challenge for me to find something to photograph that I feel might be interesting to other people.  This is something I suppose I need to get past to some degree.  I also released when I was talking to someone the other day that I’d not used my 50 mm “prime” lens since I’d moved up from the D3100 to the D7100.  So I’ve decided that this week I’m only going to use the 50 mm lens.

I decided to drive into town and capture another of the local icons.  It was interesting working with the 50 mm lens instead of the 18-105 mm lens.  I had to keep checking that I wasn’t about to back into someone or something when I realized I needed to move my feet to “zoom out” and watch that I didn’t walk into the street when I wanted to “zoom in”.
