Ok … so you’ll just have to trust me on this … the skies were magnificent this afternoon and into sunset.   Pretty amazing … spent the first half of the day in chilly, rainy weather and spend most of the afternoon under partly to mostly cloudy skies and warm, unseasonable temperatures.   I had even planned to stop just before sunset to get a photo or two.  Unfortunately, I found myself sitting in traffic 20 minutes before sunset; it took about 15 minutes to go about a half mile and then it eventually cleared out.  Unfortunately, I only got glimpses of the sunset that I’d been watching build all afternoon.
