Today my son and I were heading toward town when he spotted a rainbow.   I pulled over as quickly as I could as he was getting the camera out.   Even with the 18-105 mm lens, I was backing up to try to get the entire rainbow in the image.   Just as I pressed the shutter release the first time, the rainbow started to vanish.   It is really faint in the image below.
