We had rain all day today … there where several “ponds” that usually don’t exist all around the house.  I had a momentary thought to photograph the ripples from the rain drops.  But I lost track of that thought and before it came back for me to act on, the sun had set.  So I’m going to share a couple of images I captured last night after my son pointed out the lights along one wall of the “alley” that leads from the street into the square.   He suggested the different angles for the shots below.  He will soon be taking photos with his first “non-point-and-shoot” camera and I look forward to seeing the images he captures.
