Back on 26 October I photographed a tree in my backyard that has three trunks growing from the same stump.  That picture was taken in the afternoon sun with the leaves … mostly still green … warmly lit.  Today was a much different day … mostly cloudy … and the leaves are gone now.   I still hope to get a photo with the tree dressed with snow.  The snow last week was minimal and only on the tops of the branches; it wasn’t visible from this perspective.
