My son came home and had his latest project to show me.  He’d made a pair of gaiters to wear when backpacking or hiking in snow.  They are made of 210 denier Dyneema X Gridstop (gray on the left) and 840 denier Ballistic Cordura nylon (black on the right) … and that heavy weight polyester Gutermann thread in the stitches.   Not only did he do a nice job, he gave me an object to practice close-up photography with.
