A photography meetup group that enjoys night and low light photography met late this afternoon nearby. I’ve photographed this bridge several times in the past, but never at sunset or in the evening. I was using a variable ND filter so that I could use longer shutter speeds before it was dark enough to need to do so otherwise. The photograph I decided to share was taken just before the color faded from the sky. The surface of the river was almost glass like reflecting the sky perfectly. The exposure is 13 seconds long … if you zoom in on the photographer you see that she moved a couple of times within those 13 seconds.
