There were a few Laughing Gulls hanging about the piers near the restaurant that I ate at earlier in the week.  One had been sitting quietly on the post in the photo below, but out of my line of sight was another one that was apparently quite amused, as it was “laughing” non-stop.  When the pair below got together, the one on the left kept throwing its head back and laughing loudly.  The other would alternate between staring at it and looking away.  Apparently, it just didn’t get the joke 😉
