A long while ago, I decided to purchase a macro lens and chose the Nikkor 85mm f/3.5 lens.   A shorter while ago, I decided to play around with it a bit.   I remembered this when I started to download photos I’d taken last weekend and discovered a couple of sets of images I’d never bothered to download from the camera.  One set was all bees on daylilies.  I really should have used a tripod.
