Up close and personal …

Today’s weather was nothing like yesterday.  Rather than 70 degrees, it topped out in the mid-40s and has started to drop as the precipitation moves in.   And the sky’s were complete overcast today which made it feel it chillier than the actual temperatures this afternoon.   The air was calm, so I thought I’d get a group shot of some of the early blooming daffodils while they were standing still.

I admit that I take fewer images with the point-and-shoot than I do with my DSLR.  Perhaps I need to start thinking about the “scene modes” and how I can use them to influence the camera settings to mimic what I would do with the DSLR.
