Pins or nails …

I spied an old Singer sewing machine at a flea market last summer.  It appeared that it had been untouched in many, many years and was as it had been left by the last person that had used it, touched only by time and a bit of dust and humidity.   I snapped only one photograph of it.  I stopped to look at it and found myself looking closely at the straight pins in the pin cushion tied to the “arm”.   Compared to most of the long, thin straight pins that I use today, they look more like small nails.   Things sure have changed … but I do wonder if that machine still sews …
